About Kilusan

The Pambansang Kilusan ng Paggawa (Kilusan) or National Labor Movement  is an organization of the working class for a democratic and progressive organization founded on June 12, 1969. Kilusan is a founding member of Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (TUCP) and a member organization of Trade Union Congress Party or the TUCP Party-list and a convenor of NAGKAISA! labor coaltion.

The objectives are as follows:
a. Develop pro-worker consciousness;
b. Harmonize and consolidate all of the workers who allies with the principles and objectives and to promote international brotherhood of workers;
k. Continues effort for a unified and organized struggle for better working conditions through collective bargaining, political action and other ways to the development of workers' conditions.
d. Collaborate with other movement of labor to build up and strengthen the common struggle towards the realization of their national unity and democratic aspirations of the Filipino masses.
e. Propagate the spirited and passionate love of the motherland.
g. Work with all branches of the government to prevent imperialism and colonial mentality that hinder national development.

The atomic bombings of the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan were conducted by the United States during the final stages ofWorld War II in August 1945. The two bombings were the first and remain the only use of nuclear weapons in warfare.
Following a firebombing campaign that destroyed many Japanese cities, the Allies prepared for a costly invasion of Japan. The war in Europeended when Nazi Germany signed its instrument of surrender on May 8, 1945, but the Pacific War continued. Together with the United Kingdom and China, the United States called for the unconditional surrender of the Japanese armed forces in the Potsdam Declaration on July 26, 1945, threatening "prompt and utter destruction". read more.......please click the link below
